Bourduas, Greg | |
Greg "the Ghost" made it out to 2 games this year and we won both of them. The rest of the league should be thankful.
Bruce, Shawn | |
Brucey went to the races last year and came home with a bundle of joy. Now he's talking about going back this year. Thanks for a solid season between the pipes Shawn.
Clayton, Mike | |
An amazing puck handler and a perennial contender for the league scoring title. I'm sure if we got the hair out of his eyes he'd score even more.
Condos, John | |
"C" just keeps on piling up the MVP seasons. This year was no exception. John continues to put up great numbers, even in this, his centennial year in the league.
Dench, Rod | |
This hockey season, Rod's skin turned from white to brown and he shaved two strokes off his handicap. When he was in the province he proved to be a solid winger who isn't afraid to crash the net.
Gallant, Kimble | |
As a member of our solid corps of wingers, Kimble's soft hands make him the beneficiary of many of the Kielt and Clayton passes. We can only dream about the numbers he might put up if he was a Todd by blood instead of by marriage.
Kielt, Jason | |
One of our Lady Byng contenders who has surprised the entire league by lasting the whole season ... so far. Jay continues as one of the most dangerous players in the league with his deadly shot and pin-point passing.
Ledgley, Brent | |
Our self-appointed Coach and GM has taken one of the best teams on paper and put it on the brink of the "C" Championship. Brent is a scrappy forward and a part-time Paul Coffey type of defenceman.
Mayberry, Tom | |
Tom's unlimited enthusiasm and hustle should be an inspiration to the whole league. In the words of the GTOs and Gene Simmons "We Call Him Dr. Love!"
Minler, Ken | |
After a short campaign, Ken was elected Mayor of the GTOs in a landslide victory. Also the team's Director of Information, Ken showed true grit by playing through a couple of injuries.
Pugh, Keith | |
As the GTOs' only true defenceman, Keith has been known to put out many opposition fires with his deadly shot from the right point. He is an anchor on the ice as well as at Crabby's after the game.
Shelton, Roger | |
Cheetah is one of our tireless veterans and yet another offensively-minded defencemen. Along with his brothers Warren and Chris, Cheetah is well on his way to setting a record for "most goals in the league by a family."
Sleegers, Terry | |
If he ever finds a jersey that fits, Terry will be one of the best dressed goalies in the league. Maybe the future ball-and-chain can find him a nice burgundy XXXL to complete the ensemble. Good luck this summer Terry.
Sutherland, Riath | |
A part-time defenseman that we won't describe as "stay-at-home." This bull-in-a-china-shop type of player isn't afraid to go end-to-end and has a few goals for his efforts. Thanks for your hard work both on and off the ice.
Vyse, Jay | |
Yet another transplanted winger, Jay continues to dish it out even though he can't take it. This team PIM leader plans on buying a 12' stick to make it easier to slash guys while on the seat of his pants ... again.
